Understanding the evolution of the Aleph-Bet

๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ Pictographic Hebrew

The most ancient form, where each letter was originally a picture representing an object or concept. These pictographs reveal the spiritual DNA of the Hebrew language.

Era: ~2000-1500 BCE

๐Ÿ“œ Paleo-Hebrew

Also called Ancient Hebrew, this script was used by the Israelites before the Babylonian exile. Found in the Dead Sea Scrolls and ancient inscriptions.

Era: ~1000-500 BCE

โœ๏ธ Modern Hebrew

The "square script" (Aramaic Script) adopted during the Babylonian exile. This is the Hebrew script used today in Torah scrolls, prayer books, and modern Israel.
